Assassin's Creed II (Part 15)
The game's midpoint reckoning β the targets falling, the accounting progressing, and the first signs of what the path is doing to the road behind it. The rage that lit the path was necessary: without it Ezio would not have started moving, would not have survived the early sessions. The ruin that paves it is the cost that the rage does not account for, the collateral damage of a mission that started personal and has been expanding ever since.
