Assassin's Creed Odyssey (Part 23)

The Cult continues to fall and the choices continue to accumulate — the spared and the killed, the alliances honored and the ones sacrificed, the decisions that seemed small and the ones that felt enormous and the difficulty of knowing in the moment which was which. Every choice echoes is the game's acknowledgment that the decision tree has depth that extends past what is immediately visible.

The gods amplifying the sound is Odyssey's engagement with the Isu technology underneath the Greek religious framework — the way the ancient civilization's systems interact with human choices in ways that look like divine intervention. The echo was always there. The amplification is what makes it theological.
