Assassin's Creed Odyssey (Part 30)

The Fate of Atlantis content and the Elysium sequences — Kassandra moving through spaces designed for the divine, encountering figures from Greek mythology as peers rather than supplicants. The walking with gods is literal in these sequences and metaphorical in what it reveals: the distance between the woman from Kephallonia who took her first mercenary contract and the person navigating the afterlife infrastructure of the ancient world.

How far she has strayed is not a rebuke. It is the measure of the journey. The self she started with was sufficient for Kephallonia. The self required to walk with gods was built somewhere between Sparta and Atlantis, through everything the odyssey demanded. The distance is the game.
