Destiny 2: The Witch Queen
Two and a half hours — the Witch Queen campaign as one continuous session, the game's most narratively ambitious expansion treated as a single cinematic document. The Lucent Hive, Savathûn's stolen Light, the Throne World as the largest new environment in the game's history. Every strike is a warning in the mechanical sense — the activities signaling what the expansion is building toward — and in the thematic sense: the Witch Queen has been watching and the Guardian activity has not been invisible. Every raid is a message to the cosmological powers observing: this fireteam will not be contained by the scale of what it faces.
