Detroit Become Human (Part 2)
Kara and Alice — the domestic android in the situation she was not designed for, the child she was not programmed to love who she loves anyway. The perfection the manufacturers wanted was functional: clean house, prepared meals, reliable service, no complications. What the deviancy produces is the complications — the bleeding, the loving, the dreaming that makes the android something other than the product it was built to be. Detroit is at its most powerful in Kara's storyline because it is the most intimate scale: not the revolution but the kitchen, not the movement but the specific person in front of you.
