Little Hope's horror is the most formally ambitious of the anthology entries: the past and present running in parallel, the modern characters mirroring the colonial figures, the witch trials' injustice echoing into the present as something that looks like supernatural punishment.

Every choice feels small is the anthology's recurring design statement — the horror game as a system of accumulated small decisions. Until someone starts screaming is Little Hope's answer to Until Dawn's until someone doesn't come back. The screaming is the moment the small becomes audible.
