Lawrence epigraph the game opens with, the dangerous dreamers being the people who act on their visions in the waking world. Nate chasing Marlowe is the dreamer giving chase to another dreamer, both of them in the desert that Lawrence wrote about, both of them in pursuit of something the desert was protecting from exactly this kind of attention.
