Assassin's Creed Odyssey (Part 3)

The Spartan origin is the game's calibration — Kassandra was trained by one of the ancient world's most demanding military cultures, which means she has a baseline of capability before the odyssey begins. What she becomes past that baseline is not Spartan. Sparta made warriors who served the polis. Kassandra ends up serving something harder to name — her own code, the people she cares about, the specific form of justice available to someone who answers to no city-state.

Myth and storm is the game at its most self-aware. The Eagle Bearer's legend is already circulating by Part 3 — the contracts building, the reputation spreading, the Greek world beginning to register that there is someone operating outside the Athenian-Spartan binary who is harder to classify than either.
