Assassin's Creed Odyssey (Part 2)

The name Kassandra was given at birth means something different from the name the Eagle Bearer will accumulate across the odyssey. One is an identity assigned. The other is a record built — the contracts taken, the enemies made, the moments where the conscience overrode the calculation and the storm happened. The world does not give legends cleanly. It gives them through the aggregation of choices that other people then interpret into a story.

The early Athenian and Spartan contacts begin establishing the political web Kassandra is entering, the game introducing the factions whose conflict will provide the operational context for everything ahead. The legend is not yet legible. The name still means the woman from Kephallonia. By the end it will mean something else entirely.
