Aya and the network she is building — Bayek hunting through Egypt while his wife constructs the political and intelligence infrastructure that will eventually become something larger than either of them intended. The hidden blade is both the weapon and the method: strikes that come without warning, from directions the powerful did not watch because they did not know to watch them.

The session establishes Origins' most distinctive quality among the AC games: the partnership at its center. Bayek and Aya are not one protagonist with a supporting cast. They are two people with partially different agendas — his personal, hers increasingly political — building something together whose shape neither fully sees.
