Death Stranding 2 (Part 8)
The threat landscape of Death Stranding 2 is vertical in ways the first game rarely was. The BTs have evolved, the landscape has changed, and the sky is no longer neutral. This session introduces the aerial dimensions of the new threat model β the game expanding its vocabulary of danger while keeping the core dynamic intact: Sam is exposed, the world is hostile, and the only answer is to keep moving.
The warning is someone else's voice in Sam's ear. One of the constants of Death Stranding's design is that Sam is never fully alone β there is always someone connected, always a strand providing information, warning, the evidence that the network is present even in the most isolated terrain. Be careful is the most human thing the network produces. It is also the most the network can actually do.
