What was taken is specific: Shimura's castle, the villages, the road Jin grew up walking, the landscape that made him who he is. Ghost of Tsushima is unusually precise about what home means — not a concept but a set of particular places, particular faces, particular hours of particular days. The fear given in return is calibrated to that specificity. It is not general menace. It is personal.
