Ghost of Yotei (Part 6)

The landscape as participant — Ezo's winter wind not as obstacle but as tool, the environment the ghost uses rather than endures. Where Tsushima's wind guided Jin toward suffering, Yotei's wind sharpens Atsu toward purpose. The game's visual language is making an argument about the difference between the two protagonists: Jin was worn down by what he was becoming, Atsu is being honed by it.

The answer the dead demanded is specific — not justice in the abstract, not peace, but the particular answer that only Atsu can give because only she survived. The demand of the dead is that the promise be kept. The wind sharpens the heart so the promise can be.
