Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition (Part 1)
Aloy as an outcast, the Nora tribe's theology, the world of 3020 where machines roam a landscape that human civilization once occupied and no longer does. The old world's fear of extinction was the civilizational anxiety of a species that could see its own end coming β climate, war, the systems it had built turning against it. This world's fear of forgetting is different: the tribes that survive in the ruins of the old world have lost the knowledge of what they are living inside of, the meaning of the structures around them, the history that would explain everything. Aloy does not yet know she is the answer to both fears.
