Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition (Part 3)

The Cauldrons and the first encounter with the machine's infrastructure from the inside — the facilities that maintain the terraforming process, the spaces that were never meant to be entered by the people the terraforming produced. Digging too deep is the game's warning applied to archaeological knowledge: the deeper Aloy goes, the closer she gets to HADES, to ELEUTHIA, to the truth of what the world is and what her role in it was designed to be.

The breathing beneath is not metaphor. GAIA is a living system. What breathes beneath the landscape is the AI architecture that created the landscape, still running, still maintaining the conditions for human survival, not entirely intact.
