The session where the stakes become actual — the game demonstrating that its threats are real, that the butterfly effect has been tracking every decision made since the opening, that the someone who doesn't come back is the payment for the accumulated small choices. Every choice felt small because small choices are comfortable, because they don't announce their significance, because the horror of the butterfly effect is that the moment you understand the choice's weight it is already made.
Until Dawn's most honest design decision is making this irreversible. The person who doesn't come back stays not come back. The game holds to the consequence.
