Tekken 7: The Mishima Saga (Episodes 1-4)

The journalist's narration frames Tekken 7's story mode from the outside β€” a human being trying to understand the Mishima conflict from a perspective that is not superhuman, not cursed, not carrying the Devil Gene. The patience and timing are Heihachi's attributes, the man who has been navigating the specific dynamics of his family's violence longer than anyone. The fire is the Devil Gene itself, the literal flame that runs through the Mishima bloodline as curse and capability.

The first four episodes establish the Mishima Saga's scope β€” this is not a tournament storyline but a family tragedy that has been building for three generations. Heihachi threw Kazuya off a cliff. Kazuya made a deal with the Devil. Jin carries both. The conflict that the journalist is trying to narrate has been going on longer than any narrative can contain cleanly.
