Yoshimitsu is the series' most theatrically indefinable character — the ninja with the mechanical arm, the Robin Hood figure who steals from corporations to give to the poor, the one fighter whose motivations are explicitly ethical in a way that none of the others claim. The sword that feeds on dishonor is the character's moral framework stated as a threat. Lucky for you I haven't eaten today is the game's acknowledgment that Yoshimitsu plays a character who plays a character, the absurdity entirely intentional and entirely in control.
