Tekken 8 Story (Chapters 1-7)
Jin Kazama has spent the entire series being defined by what was done to him. Tekken 8 is the game that attempts to give him something to fight toward rather than away from β the war between Jin and Kazuya as a final reckoning, the third generation of the Mishima conflict reaching its terminal confrontation. The smile and the steel are Jin's two registers: the internal collapse that the series has been tracking since Tekken 3 and the external capability that has never failed even when everything else did.
The first seven chapters establish the Mishima war's global stakes β Jin's plan to end the Devil Gene's cycle by ending Kazuya, the world caught between two forces neither of which can coexist with the other indefinitely. The game is the most narratively ambitious in the series, and the opening chapters are establishing the emotional investment required to make the conclusion matter.
