Tekken 8 Story (Chapters 7-15)

The Devil Gene as inheritance — the thing each generation of Mishima passes forward not by intention but by biology, the curse that is not supernatural but is no less inescapable for being genetic. Broken bones are both literal (the fighting game's physical grammar) and the record of everything the Mishima conflict has cost across seven games. The legacy is written in the injuries sustained and inflicted, in the relationships destroyed, in the generations of violence organized around the same central wound.

The middle chapters are the game at its most dramatically dense — the revelation of what Kazuya actually is, the expansion of the cosmological stakes, the various characters being drawn into the final confrontation by the specific shape of their relationships with the Mishima family.
